1969 as new 250CE

Every so often you find an amazing car. I purchased this in Melbourne unseen and driving to the transport company I thought this car is way too good and for sure it would make it back to Sydney so i turned right and set off.

The body was totally original and rust free and the green interior was new, like actually as good as new. The car was coughing and spluttering, I stopped in at Albury and the local Benz dealer said try a bottle of fuel clean with fill-up, and bugger me 100kms later it was flying along @ 70mph.

I stopped and took this photo in admiration of the simple beauty of the 250CE. Purchased $18K and sold or $40K but in today's marketa would be $60+ all day.
